Course Examination and Grading Method

Examination Method

There is one examination period per academic semester, held during the first two weeks following the end of classes for that semester. The results are announced by the instructors within one week after the final examination takes place.

Grading Method

Courses are graded on a scale from 0 to 10, with grades from 5 to 10 considered passing.
The final grade in each course reflects the student’s overall performance, based on:

  1. performance in assignments and/or laboratory work,
  2. results of the mid-term examination (where applicable),
  3. the final written and/or oral examination.
